About the Association

A Tradition of Marksmanship Since 1857

For more than a century and a half, the Hawaii Rifle Association has represented responsible firearm ownership in the Islands. What began as an organized marksmanship society in the Kingdom of Hawaii has grown into a statewide association supporting shooting clubs, safety instruction and informed civic participation.

The association does not operate as a retailer or a training business. Its work is educational and community-based: encouraging disciplined marksmanship, supporting affiliated clubs, and giving Hawaii's firearm community a clear, credible voice.

  • Heritage & Tradition

  • Safety & Education
